The NAIT Library Makerspace can give you new opportunities to get hands-on, if you can find it. Students can go to the back of the library to try out the variety of modern maker equipment, including 3D printers, CNC routers, and a laser cutter.

An Edmonton contemporary artist, Rahmaan Hameed, has been making it big through his art. Hameed has many local clients like The Little Warriors Be Brave Ranch, Seoul Fried Chicken, Kingsway mall, and many more downtown Edmonton locations and does art pieces for Connor McDavid and his girlfriend Lauren Kyle.

Ooks wins bronze in badminton nationals

The Ooks badminton season has wrapped up in Nova Scotia. Five Ooks badminton players made it to nationals earlier this month for both men’s and women’s doubles, along with men’s singles.
