There’s a Facebook page that’s been getting lots of attention in the last few years, with over 20,000 followers. It’s called Edmonton Music Scene, and it’s the perfect place to find out about new bands and upcoming shows. It’s also a great place for musicians to meet others and even join bands. I’ve posted “drummer reporting for duty” in the past and received lots of responses. The page is the best way to find a band to join, or find a new member for an existing band. It’s a page dedicated to the promotion of musical artists in the Edmonton area. If you know a band, are in a band, or just love music this is the page for you.
