The Ooks upcoming hockey weekend

This weekend is huge for the Ooks hockey teams.
It all starts Friday night when the Ooks women’s hockey team faces off against the Olds College Broncos for Chuck-a-Puck night. This is their last game before the new year and the Ooks come into this matchup at the top of the ACAC with a 9-3-0 record. Olds poses a 2-8-0 slate through their own games.
Chuck-a-Puck offers fans a chance to win a $125 gift card if they win. Pay for pucks and test your luck to land the closest to the centre dot! The game is set for 7 p.m.
The men’s squad holds the top spot in their division ahead of playing the UAA Vikings. Being their last game before January, they seek to take an eight-game win streak into the break. Puck drop is at 6 p.m.
Watch any Ooks home game for free if you paid your NAIT athletics and recreation fee. Just have your event pass and head down to the NAIT arena in room S-220 to enjoy the action.
