I am someone who drinks a lot of coffee. When I’m at home, I just drink black coffee. But when I’m at a coffee place, I will always get a fun and fancy coffee. Here are some of the best coffee shops in Edmonton.
Block 1912
Block 1912 has a great atmosphere. They have a big wall of books, and a lot of cozy seating. You can even leave notes and put them in the walls for people to find. Reading through those notes is always fun. In the summer they open up their front wall to make an outdoor area.
The Colombian
The Colombian has great coffee and all their beans are from Colombia! They have fifteen locations across North America, Central America, and the Caribbean. They want to create a good environment, with a focus on sustainability in their coffee sourcing.
Cat Cafe on Whyte
This one is probably my favorite because there’s cats everywhere. I am a big animal person so somewhere I can hangout with cats and play boardgames with friends, is a place I want to stay in for a while. They charge you a flat fee and then you get unlimited drinks for an hour, and you can stay in the cat lounge area as long as you want! Their drinks are very good but that’s the least important thing about this one.
Crum Coffee Bar
This place is on the list because it has the best dirty chai I have ever tasted. They also have a lot of different bakery options that cater to lots of different dietary restrictions. The gluten free cupcakes are very good, and so are some of the vegan baked goods I’ve tried from here.
Remedy
If you want a place that’s open late, and has good chai and samosas, Remedy is the place for you. It has a lot of good seating areas, and even has a meeting room for big hangouts and events!
I could talk about lots of different coffee places but those are some of my favorites here in Edmonton.
