Sylvester Stallone: Man or god? This question and many others I bring up to discuss on the after-hours show “2 Door Coupé” (every Thursday 4 -5 p.m.) may seem absurd, but in the realm of Hollywood, I could argue that the line between the two is blurry. The chiseled jaw, the raspy voice, the superhuman physique, not to mention the iconic characters and stories Stallone has brought to life on film but is it fair to say he deifies mortality? While Sylvester Stallone may be an incredibly talented actor and entertainer, it’s important to remember that he is just an actor. It’s easy to get caught up in the larger-than-life personas of celebrities, but it’s important to remember that they are human beings with flaws and imperfections just like the rest of us. He is a man, not a god, although Stallone’s impact on popular culture and the entertainment industry can’t be denied.
