Rafi Jag: My Love

This song is written by an acquaintance of mine that I went to middle school with. Rafi is a Filipino artist from Lloydminster, Alberta, Canada. I remember listening to Rafi sing at assemblies, charity events and even around the halls of school.

Davie Josh Celestial: Destiny

This song hasn’t been released yet, but I had the honour of recording with Davie for a school project. While it’s still in the works for being finished, Davie and I knew each other as well in middle school. He is a Filipino artists with roots in Lloydminster, Edmonton and the Alberta region. He is currently at school for music at MacEwan University here in Edmonton, and truly a great singer. I can’t wait until he goes big!

Lana Lubany: THE SNAKE

This song I had randomly stumbled on after I had followed Lana on Instagram. I messaged her and played her song on the radio in my first semester, and have played many of her new releases since. She is a talented Palestinian-American artist, living in the UK. She’s gotten much bigger since I followed her with more and more songs being released and her being noticed and having a song even played in the Apple Launch Event 2023. Overall, she is a wholesome individual and really cool!

mxmtoon: the idea of you

I found Maia on Twitch during the pandemic/just before the pandemic through streaming and watching streams. She had maybe 85 viewers when I followed her and followed her on her music career. Maia, or mxmtoon is an American singer-songwriter and youtuber and Twitch streamer. She’s an amazing artist and gamer girl too! I’ve shared some of her music as well on the radio here at NAIT as well, and I plan on continuing to do so as she releases more albums and singles!
