Ooks Men’s Hockey team gearing up for rivalry playoff series

The ACAC Playoffs have began and one team that is turning heads is the men’s hockey team right here at NAIT. The Ooks are taking on the University of Concordia Thunder who beat the Ooks in the first round during the 23/24 season. This rivalry has been building and both teams are hoping to get the win. Game one took place at NAIT on Thursday February 27, with the Ooks prevailing in overtime with Forward Ashton McNelly scoring the overtime winner and also having a power-play goal to gain the lead early in the first period. Game two will be taking place Saturday March first at the Clareview Arena and if a game three is needed it will take place on Sunday March third at NAIT. Catch the Ook home games live on NR92.com.
