Meet Mister Invincible

Solasta: Crown of the Magister has quickly become one of my favourite games. The character creation is absolutely amazing, the combat is smooth and consistent, and the game is able to be broken juuuuuust enough for some really interesting things to happen.

For example. This Paladin I made named Hunter Hastings is probably the most invincible character I’ve ever made. With an AC (Armor Class) of 27, opposition characters need to have at least a +7 to hit (not a lot do) and have to roll a 20 on a 20-sided die (also doesn’t happen a lot). So not a lot of stuff is able to actually hit Hunter, let alone actually damage him.

So when Hunter gets into a fight with anything it’s already an unfair situation for his enemies BEFORE he decides to unleash his abilities and use his Smite. This man could single-handedly take down an entire Orc camp without so much as taking a scratch from an enemy and then he’ll try to convert them to his religion.

I was really looking forward to getting Hunter to max level and seeing all the amazing things he was going to be able to do, but disaster struck. The person who was hosting the game Hunter was in, accidentally saved over the game and as a result, Hunter was lost forever. Rest in peace you beautiful un-touchable himbo, you will be missed.

This blog is dedicated to the memory of Hunter Hastings, the Paladin so strong only the game itself could defeat him.
