Bailey Wood’s Gaming Experience!

I’ll be diving into this five-game series that I enjoyed and that I suggest if you like video games to go check them out! Some video games you play reward you every step of the way, granting you special powers to beat the next level or increasing your resources to make yourself stronger. But there is one series of games that makes it hard to love which is weird because it’s my favourite series of games to date! The Dark Souls games bring you into beautifully designed worlds with monsters, undead beings, dragons and many more! The one thing Dark Souls is known for the most is how incredibly challenging it can be. Even with hidden traps and boss fights that seem impossible I still manage to grow and enjoy while also wanting to smash my controller!

Up next is the Assassins Creed series, I started playing these games when the first one came out in 2007 and I fell in love with the concept of being a stealthy assassin, taking out bad guys with cool weapons like the hidden blade and in future games hook blade and rope darts. Whether your Ezio running on rooftops throughout Europe in the year 1476 or Conner jumping through trees in America in the year 1775 I guarantee you to action, excitement, great storytelling and all-out fun will come with it! The series continues to grow with its latest release Assassins Creed Valhalla taking place in the Viking era of the late 800’s in Norway! I’m excited to get my hands on it but the next game is a pure classic!

When you think of Gameboys and Nintendo DS’s I know Mario comes to mind first but so should Pokemon! Through the years of making countless Pokemon starting with 151 moving now up to a whopping 898! Each Pokemon for those who don’t know is assigned a specific type like fire or water! And each has its weaknesses! Re-living the games now as an adult and remembering what parts were hard for me and laughing at my old self for messing up simple battles. Pokemon games go hand in hand with the T.V shows and by that, I mean they are both excellent and honestly almost too good that you may get addicted! My favourite game is Pokemon Emerald on the Gameboy Advance!

We’re almost done with the list! Coming in at my top four but I know for a lot of others it’s their top one is Call Of Duty. I started playing Call Of Duty when I was in the second grade, I know not the best thing to play at the age but I thought it was so cool. Anyways I continue to play to this day but I’m not as into it as I use to be. I found it challenging because it feels like the same game over and over again. But stats do not lie, the Call of Duty franchise released a new game mode called Warzone in the early months of 2020 that took off and skyrocketed profit, I’m talking a 773 million out of the 1 point 7 billion profits made. Those numbers are a ridiculous, huge shout out to the developers of the game mode Warzone because they did fairly well

We are on the last game on the list! But that doesn’t mean it’s the least, Red Dead Redemption is a game series where you’re an outlaw in the old western era of cowboys, robbers and all the action that comes with it. During the game, you can travel the open world while completing main quest missions or side missions that interest you! My reason for having it at the bottom of the list is personally once I beat the game I just felt so bored with the game and the online concept released was overhyped leading to even more disappointment. This is all my opinion. By the way, there is a 65-year-old guy who has played the story over 30 times! He probably hates my guts! I’m Bailey Wood that was my five-game series I believe you should check out!
