Alberta Adventures: 5 Must-See Destinations for Unforgettable Experiences

To top it all off there’s Banff which is probably the most popular tourist attraction in Alberta. Banff brings you many things to do in all seasons. With having great places to shop, eat, and drink. Some popular examples could be the Bear Street Tavern which has probably some of the best pizza in Banff with their popular one being The Godfather. Another one is Magpie and Stump this great Mexican restaurant brings a tasty variety of tacos, burritos, fajitas and more. Of course that was only a few places there’s so much more from Eddie Burger and Bar, Coyotes, and Brazen and much more to try out. That’s not all you can do in Banff, there’s the Gondola, Horseback riding, The Hot Springs, skiing or Banff National Park.

Another one is Canmore the great thing about Canmore is that it isn’t located near one of the National Parks. Which makes it cheaper for people to visit. Canmore offers many fun things to do. Examples could be rafting, caving, hiking, or skiing. Canmore also has great food some examples are Finchy’s Bar and Grill, this restaurant is located at Cangolf so if your also interested in playing some sports this place is also great for you. Finchy’s has a wide variety of great food from sandwiches, to tacos, wings and much more. Another tasty example is Rocket Pie and yes it’s another pizza place, which in my view Alberta is a big fan of pizza and I don’t blame it pizza is great. Anyways rocket Pie brings you great pizzas, calzones and more to pick from.

Another place that is very popular for it’s skiing is Jasper. With it’s endless hiking trails, and gorgeous lakes Jasper is ideal for any of it’s outdoor activities. There’s many beautiful places you can visit while in Jasper some examples could be a walk to the Pyramid Lake, a visit to Spirit Island, though I’ve never been the pictures are absolutely stunning and is still on my list of things I want to do in Jasper. There’s also Jasper National Park and of course skiing and snowboarding in the winter time.

A fun City to visit could be Calgary, this city brings one of the top-rated attractions in Alberta with the Calgary Zoo. The Zoo brings many animals, and to top it all they have a fun activity at the Zoo with the penguin walk that happens everyday at 10:00 a.m. unless the weather is bad obviously. You could also go and check out downtown which is filled with many things to see. Some examples could be 17th avenue which is filled with many restaurants and clubs, or Stephan Avenue which is a pedestrian only walkway. Stephan Avenue is said to be the best place for shopping and dining. If you come in the summer they’ve got Calaway Park which is a fun amusement park for families to come and enjoy.

To end it off we’ve got Drumheller, this city brings us one of the best museums in Canada Royal Tyrrell Museum. The Royal Tyrrell Museum is a big tourist attraction that teaches you all that you can know about dinosaurs, fossils and it brings many great hands on displays that will keep kids entertained. Other things that you could do is explore the Dinosaur Provincial Park or the Willow Creek Hoodoos and so much more.
