NAITSA launches New Student Experience

NAITSA is helping new students get involved in activities around NAIT.
Students have expressed in the past that they’re not aware of what activities and events NAIT has to offer.
NAITSA Student Involvement Coordinator Chris Black says the New Student Experience was created to make students aware of the event.
“This is a program that’s part of ookslife.ca. And it came about from student feedback. A lot of students wanted to be more involved on campus but didn’t know how to start. So we put this together to help students explore a little bit of everything that happens on campus.”
Black says that when students participate they receive a digital badge to show that they participated in certain events around campus.
