NAIT’s Makerspace is here to make your space better.

The makerspace is a place to get hands-on learning and experience with 3D printing, robotics, and other crafting machinery.

NAIT’s Library director, Carmen Reems says they have a lot of equipment available for NAIT’s student body.

“A makerspace is also going to match its community and so here that means a lot of digital fabrication equipment that mirrors and also gives every student the opportunity to learn new technology. So whether it’s 3D printing, CNC mills, if you’re a business student or a machinist, you all have access to that same new technology that you can learn and explore.”

Reems says that any student from any program can come in and use whatever equipment they need.
