NAIT Radio and Television program updating its name

The Radio and Television program offered at NAIT is in the process of changing its name. The program will soon be called “Media Communications and Production” to better reflect the scope of the program.
The program has undergone changes to update curriculum to industry standards. Chair of the program Patrick Galenza talks about how they came to these changes.
“We really worked hard with industry to say; what does a student coming out here need both on the radio and media production, or television and media production and I think we’re right there.”
The program will continue to offer both radio and television streams, both with an expanded scope as the industry continues to evolve and grow.
