Makerspace looking for new location

The library at NAIT has something cool you may not know about.
The Makerspace has a variety of tools like 3D printers to help students bolster their learning experience. But it seems like students are having a hard time finding it. This is because it’s hidden deep within the library, out of sight of the student body.
Library director Carmen Reems says that they’ve been looking into alternatives.
“So if we can kind of get somewhere where we’re not tucked in the back, taking up a hallway and going around the corner and having a little more of a dedicated space,” Reems says. “It’s baby steps, but I think it’s probably time to move that direction so we’re exploring that with facilities at NAIT to see what else we can do.”
Even though the Makerspace is difficult to find, there are signs in the library to guide you toward it.
