Little Shop of Horrors blooms at Citadel Theatre

Little Shop of Horrors, the musical with love, murder and killer plants is showing at Citadel Theatre with growing success. Partnering with Vancouver’s Arts Club Theatre company, the show includes a diverse and talented cast from both Alberta and BC.
Citadel’s Artistic Director, Daryl Cloran, says that musicals like Little Shop are much like the “magical unicorns” of theatre.
“It appeals to audiences of all ages: Audiences in their 40s and 60s who remember the Rick Moranis and Steve Martin movie from the 80’s, and also 20-year-old audiences too who just really love the show. So, it’s something that everyone can get excited about.”
The second and largest staging of the show at Citadel, Little Shop of Horrors runs until November 19th, offering its own spin while keeping true to its roots.
