Connecting you to a broader NAIT

Going to NAIT is all about building new bonds that will last a lifetime. Campus events may be the gateway to these connections.
With the academic school year almost wrapped up, many students will presumably be buried in a textbook or a laptop as they prepare for their upcoming finals. Many events on and off campus encourage students to step in and try something new.
Sandy Babiuk, Campus Recreation Coordinator at NAIT, says she’s noticed positives for these students coming to the events.
“It helps students be better at school, be better in their own life just by attending events. And one more important thing is the connections they make. Like so many students are, you know, when they attend our events, if they don’t know anybody on campus, it’s just a great way to make connections.”
Some recurring recreational events include drop-in Pickleball or Hoops Hangout.
