The Ooks women’s hockey team is looking to make a big impact this season.
Defence #7 Hannah Prinsen says the team has great chemistry and works hard to bring its best to the ice. Prinsen says the team is excited about the new season, building a strong sense of camaraderie and welcoming some new faces.
“We’ve got a pretty young team this year compared to what we’ve had in previous years and compared to some of the other teams in the league. So maybe what we lack in experience, we make up for in energy and buy-in to the same process.”
The Ooks women’s hockey team is also excited to host a rivalry matchup against SAIT. Prinsen encourages students to come out and cheer them on as they hit the ice at 6 p.m. on Friday, October 16th.
