Halloween season in Edmonton always comes down to Deadmonton. It’s back for year 13, and it’s still one of the scariest things you can do in this city in October.
It runs from Sept. 25 to Nov. 7 in the old Edmonton Sun building, so there are plenty of weekends to work up the nerve. This year’s themes are Cursed, The Rejects, and The Asylum. Those names alone are doing a lot.
Some stuff to know before you go:
- Tickets start at $36.99, so check the Deadmonton site for show times and pricing
- There’s park-and-ride with a shuttle, plus some street parking and a lot north of the building
- Food and drinks are available on-site, so you can calm your nerves after (or before, no judgment)
The best advice: bring friends, wear shoes you can run in, and don’t go first. Or do, I can’t tell you what to do.
