NAIT Athletics is excited about this upcoming Ooks season. Media coordinator Alex Galenza says the teams are working hard to bring their best and hope for your support at the games. Galenza says they have a new program for students who come for the pre-game.
“We’re doing that this year with every single sport, which is really exciting. So, you go beforehand, you get to meet people if you’re alone, there is a whole cheering section, so everybody sits together, so you have friends that you’re sitting with. You get to make a sign; you get pizza and then they also explain it so that you understand what’s happening while the game is going on”
Galenza is encouraging students to watch and cheer on the men’s soccer team as they go for their third straight conference title. NAIT will be hosting the CCAA national soccer championship this year, November 11th to the 14th.
