I am lucky enough to be going to the Foofighters show on Thursday. Foofighters has fans from many generations, but their most dedicated fans are middle-aged fathers. If you are young like me, you may be wondering what the mosh pit etiquette for this show is. Fret not, I am here to tell you: they may look old, but Grohl brings out their young moshing souls.
Most of these dads have not moshed in a while. Once they end up in the pit, they will be reminded of why they loved it when they were young. With their fatherly wisdom, they will protect young people in the pit like you. If you fall down, just reach up and the dads will resurrect you. They’ll ask if you’re okay and if you are, they’ll push you back into the sea of dads.
