Okay, so I might be exaggerating a bit, but I wouldn’t be surprised! According to CNN, The pulsar in the Crab Nebula, which is a rapidly spinning neutron star, releases bright millisecond-long pulses of radio waves, called giant radio pulses, that are accompanied by X-ray surges.
So, if the Crab Nebula can send out radio waves, who’s to say that it can’t also receive them? NR92 should reach out to NASA to design an intergalactic radio station so that NR92 can spread our sweet tunes to the stars. Pictured below, a potential Crab Nebula NR92 listener.
