This week, Movember concluded and Team NAIT celebrated a successful campaign. This Thursday on CAT Landing, there was a photo shoot, cake and, of course, Flynn as a final send off. Movember, a campaign dedicated towards men growing their mustaches to raise money for Prostate and Testicular Cancer and Suicide and Depression, was highly successful compared to previous year’s fundraising on campus.

Over this last month, Team NAIT raised raised over $6100, the Paramedic Class of 2019 short of $2000, and the Denturist program just under $1000.

Supervisor of Health Services, Christine Bannerman sees is hoping for an even bigger 2018. She wants Team NAIT to stick with its current schedule of events throughout the month, but to create more teams between programs to increase competition and thus increase the total amount of funding.

Combined, all the teams at NAIT this year raised over $12,000.
